Why We Are Here

Singapore has witnessed a concerning 52.38% surge in stroke cases between 2012 and 2022, with over 8,000 cases reported yearly since 2018. This suggests a critical need for accessible and affordable stroke care tailored to the unique needs of stroke survivors, many of which may face challenges in finding suitable rehabilitation, hindering their holistic recovery.

Furthermore, the rising incidence of strokes among younger individuals, coupled with increased cases linked to prevalent risk factors like hypertension, high cholesterol, and diabetes, highlights the urgency for enhanced stroke awareness. Proactive measures are essential to foster healthier lifestyles and prevent future strokes.

We are thus commited to the following:

  • Delivering Specialised Stroke Rehabilitation: Providing comprehensive rehabilitation services, relevant programmes and targeted support services to maximise recovery potential for stroke survivors.
  • Driving Community Awareness and Prevention: Conducting targeted outreach initiatives to educate the public on stroke risks and empower them to adopt healthier lifestyles.
  • Ensuring Service Accessibility: Actively fundraising and engaging donors to maintain affordable and accessible services for all stroke survivors.
