Senior Executive, Advocacy & Strategic Communications (Events)

Permanent, Full Time / Senior Executive

 

Are you passionate about planning impactful events and driving community engagement? Do you have a flair for marketing and project management? If so, we want you to join our team at Stroke Support Station (S3)! As our Senior Executive, you will take the lead in planning and executing high-impact events and outreach initiatives. This includes spearheading fundraising activities, appreciation ceremonies, and social events, all while playing a vital role in our upcoming 10th Anniversary celebrations! You'll also be responsible for driving marketing efforts to promote S3's latest initiatives, such as our Adaptive Gym Programme.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute fundraising, advocacy, and social events (e.g. roundtable discussions, private receptions, impact showcases, fundraisers and appreciation ceremonies)
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure event success and alignment with strategic goals
  • Be a key player in planning and execution of events (e.g. 10th Anniversary celebrations - Gala Dinner)
  • Develop and implement marketing campaigns to promote new S3 services, events, and outreach activities
  • Ensure consistent and compelling messaging across all marketing channels (social media, traditional media, direct marketing)
  • Support outreach initiatives to strengthen community relationships and engage donors

 

 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Corporate Communications, Events Management, Public Relations, or a related field
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in Social Service Organisation, Non-profit organisation, or the healthcare sector
  • Strong project management and events management skills
  • Confident communicator and presenter with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong writing, proofreading, and design skills
  • Ability to multitask, with excellent planning and time management abilities
  • Familiarity with current trends in digital and social media marketing
