Leap For Love 2024

On 29 February 2024, S3 held a special event for our members, caregivers, friends and more! Held at the UOB Activity Hall at Enabling Village, we organised Leap for Love to celebrate love and the community, and the special leap year that happens once every four years.

The day was filled to the brim with a lineup of fun activities and performances by special guests! We had the honour of having Mr Daniel Ng, a blind busker, to serenade classic love songs for the crowd as a tribute for the selfless care shared between persons affected by stroke and their caregivers.

The highlight of the day featured a unique performance by students from AWWA’s Kindle Garden Preschool as a collaboration with S3! We were heartened to see guests charmed by the students’ heartfelt dancing and singing.

In a special segment, the students also gifted our S3 members with handmade sparkle heart dishes, and received decorated heart balloons in return from our members! It was truly moving to see the interactions between the two groups as the hall filled with bright laughter, warm smiles and even hugs.

Finally, we hope that everyone had fun participating at the photobooth and game booths where attractive prizes could be won! The activities were planned and conducted by a very special group of student volunteers who dedicated time out of their busy school schedule to make the event a memorable one for all.
