Assistant Manager / Manager, IT
Permanent, Full Time / Assistant Manager or Manager / 10 years exp
The IT manager is responsible for overseeing the overall IT infrastructure, systems, and processes within the company. He/She will be the key driver to lead and project manaage the digital transfortmation initiative for the organisation. He/She will be a subject matter expert in IT matters, and will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure our IT systems are efficient, secure, and aligned with our business objectives and prevailing government regulations.
IT Governance and Risk Management:
- Develop and implement IT strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure the smooth operation of all IT systems and services
- Ensure compliance with prevailing cyber and data protection regulations and implement security measures to protect all data and assets
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans
IT Operations:
- Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware, software, and networking systems
- Monitor system performance and security, identifying and addressing potential issues proactively
- Collaborate with other departments to understand their IT needs and provide technical solutions and support
IT Project Management:
- Manage IT projects, including the planning, budgeting, resource allocation, and tracking progress
- Develop and submit proposals to obtain grants/funding from government or private funders for IT related projects
IT Capability Development:
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies, software, and tools to improve efficiency and effectiveness
- Continually review S3's Digital Transformation roadmap in accordance with the evolving technology landscape
- Drive digital transformation initiatives according to S3's Digital Transformation Roadmap
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline with at least 10 years of IT management experience, with a strong understanding of IT systems, networks, security, and infrastructure
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results on time and within budget
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a strategic mindset and attention to detail
- Familiarity with industry-specific software and tools (e.g. ILTC/IRMS portal, CRM software, centre management/clinic management systems) will be an advantage
- Additional professional certifications (e.g. PMP, CISSP) will be an advantage
