Job Summary:
To provide effective and efficient occupational therapy sessions and develop innovative solutions to meet the client needs, in line with best practice. He/She will work with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the coordination, development and delivery of a quality, client-centered therapy service.
The senior occupational therapist will also be required to provide supervision and guidance to other occupational therapists, therapy support associates, and therapy assistants. Where required, they will also need to be supervisors for conditional registered occupational therapists and occupational therapy students.
He/She should have initiative and be sensitive to the needs of her/his clients. He/ She should possess management skills and problem-solving skills.
